EMBL Reptile Database

Species number and variety seems to change on an almost daily basis, with scientific knowledge advancing the discovery and reclassification of species. For both scientists and amateur taxonomists alike, it is important to be using current information. The EMBL Reptile Database was created by the Systematics Working Group of the German Herpetological Society, and aims to cover all living reptiles. It is updated every six months and is freely available.
