While this book is essentially a reference guide to the classically encountered and artificially created elements that make up normal matter, it is a work that is surprisingly readable in its entirety for the professional, or budding, scientist. A knowledgeable tone and excellent writing style provided by Krebs make for a work that is as engaging as it is informative, and at a reasonable price.
