British History Online

British History Online (BHO) is a digital library for the medieval and early modern history of the British Isles. It makes available in common format a wide range of historical resources that are can be browsed and searched on the internet. Created by the Institute of Historical Research and the History of Parliament Trust, BHO aims to support academic and personal users around the world in their learning, teaching and research. Access to it is available free of charge on the web, although the introduction of an additional premium (i.e. cost‐based) service is likely in the future.
