The Home Front Encyclopedia: United States, Britain and Canada in World Wars I and II

ABC‐Clio recently published two landmark reference sets on the global wars of the last century. World War I: Encyclopedia (Tucker, 2005) received favourable consideration in these columns (RR 2006/289) and achieved a listing as one of our “Top ten printed reference sources” for 2006. The companion encyclopedia on World War II (Tucker and Roberts, 2005) obtained similar critical acclaim and awards elsewhere.
