Since its introduction in January 2004, EBSCO's Communication and Mass Media Complete (CMMC) has filled a critical niche in the interdisciplinary field of communication studies, including advertising, communication science, film and television studies, journalism and linguistics. CMMC incorporates content of the former CommSearch and Mass Media Articles Index databases, in addition to other serial titles in the discipline.
