LISU Annual Library Statistics 2006: Featuring Trend Analysis of UK Public and Academic Libraries 1995‐2005

This is regrettably the last in the long‐running series published by the Library and Information Statistics Unit (LISU) over a period of 21 years, its cessation due apparently to a lack of continuing funding. The work provides us with a great richness of statistical data and accompanying analysis across the whole spectrum of library activity in the public and academic sectors. Data is collected from a wide range of resources: professional bodies, individual libraries, the book trade and from government agencies.
