Farmland Information Center

The Farmland Information Center (FIC) supports the information needs of those interested in the preservation and conservation of American farmland. The FIC is a joint project, initiated in 1994, between the US Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS; see www.nrcs.usda.gov) and American Farmland Trust (AFT; see www.farmland.org). As a “clearinghouse for information about farmland protection and stewardship” (see www.farmlandinfo.org), the FIC site is a gateway to a variety of resources, ranging in date from 1962 to 2007.
