The Greenwood Encyclopedia of Latino Literature is a project of the national research programme Recovering the US Hispanic Literary Heritage of the United States, which was founded to recover and preserve the literary legacy of Hispanic people. Similar to, but broader in scope than, the recent Encyclopedia of Hispanic American Literature (Ramirez, 2008), this three volume encyclopedia provides an invaluable additional contribution to the scholarship of Hispanic literature.
