Peter Standish, Professor of Foreign Languages and Literatures at East Carolina University, has authored many books and articles on Mexican and Latin American literature and cultural studies. Standish is academic editor of Greenwood Press's series, Culture and Customs of Latin America and the Caribbean. His works include Culture and Customs of Mexico (Standish and Bell, 2004) and A Companion to Mexican Studies (Standish, 2006).
