The new edition of the Encyclopedia of American Law, has dropped the West imprimatur from its title and now carries another respected reference publisher, Gale's name. Happily, the editorial work and enhancements done by Gale continue the high standards of the previous editions while bringing much appreciated access to users via the e‐book format. In this era of corporate shuffling the change of name reflects Gale's emergences from under the Thomson umbrella to a part of Cengage Learning. West remains part of Thomson Legal.
