The second edition of the Encyclopedia of Dietary Supplements is available in both print and online formats. For this review, only the online version was used. According to the preface, this edition contains updates and revisions for the chapters contained in the first edition, as well as 12 new chapters. Each of the 96 chapters focuses on one dietary supplement, which, the encyclopaedia acknowledges, is only a small sample of the supplements available.
