Frederick Douglass wrote that “(I)t is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men”. The National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP) gives us markers about how the US is doing in raising strong children. It is a remarkably well organized and easy to navigate website affiliated with the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
