The Francis Ford Coppola Encyclopaedia is another interesting volume from The Scarecrow Press. It is the second in a series, after The Ridley Scott Encyclopedia (Raw, 2009) (RR 2011/092) focussing on the life and works of directors that are still active.
The foreword comes from the prolific John Tibbetts who efficiently limns the trajectory of Coppola's career. It serves as an excellent primer to Coppola country; within the borders of which one will find the expected film making territories, but also valleys devoted to wine making, and plains regarding Zoetrope: All Story, the science fiction and...
