The Cambridge Companion to British Literature of the French Revolution in the 1790s

Cambridge Companions will already be very familiar to reference librarians as they have been published for several years and in many volumes. Over 120 authors, English and foreign, have been covered, and over 100 topics in literature. To focus on the impact of the French Revolution on British literature in just one decade seems rather narrow, but this is probably a reflection of two factors, first, that universities are offering courses in this specific area, and second, that the longer‐term impact of the Revolution will receive a separate volume.
