This review examines the electronic version of this resource available through Oxford University Press at their oxfordreference.com website. The six-volume print edition of this encyclopedia contains 460 halftones and 170 color plates, and the electronic edition includes access to all of these pictures and plates as well. This resource has over 2,000 articles, focusing on the sixth through the sixteenth centuries of medieval Western Europe.
