Began in 1998 by Monika Muennich as part of IFLA’s Cataloguing Section, the Multilingual Dictionary of Cataloguing Terms and Concepts (MulDiCat) provides relative definitions for the international cataloguing community. Terms were chosen by the IME ICC (IFLA Meetings of Experts on an International Cataloguing Code) that reviewed FRBR, FRAD and ISBD terminology while developing the International Cataloguing Principles (ICP) published in 2009.
