This is a fabulous book for anyone who wants to be able to identify birds and know more about where to find them; the different families to which they belong; and the different shapes of wings, beaks and tails, as well as how their plumage changes.

The photographs and illustrations in this guide are excellent and clearly show identifying marks, not just of adults but of immature birds.
