American Broadsides and Ephemera, Series 1 (1749-1900)

An interesting change is coming to history and social studies as it is taught in Ontario. Now, teachers and students are encouraged more than ever to seek out and actually use primary documents. The interpretation of primary documents has been extended away from the traditional print resource to encompass many ephemeral resources including broadsides and ephemera in general. Literacy is assisting in this, providing the means of interpreting or reading a broadside for example. Therefore, it is with joy that I approach Readex's American Broadsides and Ephemera, Series 1 (1749-1900).
