The Fairchild Books Dictionary of Interior Design (3rd edition)

This third edition adds over 150 new terms and 60 illustrations, bringing the total number of illustrations to over 700. Eighty percent of the entries have been revised. Many have been shortened due to readily available electronic resources. A large number have cross-references to other entries in the dictionary.

This works gives an overview of the history and practices of interior design. Many of the terms defined are historical and probably will not change much. Others are new.
