A Cultural History of the Senses

This is an extraordinary and intriguing book series. Usually when reviewing, I start off by considering other books that I have come across on broadly related topics, thus setting the book into its context. In this case, however, I don’t think I have ever come across anything quite like it, not having read any of the editor’s previous publications.
