An eighth edition in about 30 years suggests a well-established (and presumably well selling) reference book, although in this case, perhaps a certain volatility in the subject matter also has a bearing. We previously reviewed the sixth edition (RR 2007/071), while the seventh edition was actually published six years ago (although reissued with updates two years ago) so a further edition is timely, reflecting “… many recent changes in the law and legal system” and “the growing importance of European law, international law and human rights law”.
