New England consists of the six states tucked away in America’s extreme North East: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. Massachusetts has much of the population, Maine much of the area. Parts of the region are still relatively undeveloped, but today the southern part is quite high-tech.
