Alaska’s Digital Archives brings together 16 wide-ranging collections from institutions across Alaska, ranging from small villages to the flagship public research university. The site seeks to provide a single location for institutions across the state to share historical research and aims to “support the instructional and research needs of Alaskans and others interested in Alaska history and culture.” Materials include photographs, albums, oral histories, moving images, maps, documents, photographs of physical objects and other materials from libraries, museums and archives throughout the state.
