Energy Dynamics Laboratory

http://energydynamicslab.com

Energy Dynamics Laboratory (EDL) is a nonprofit research corporation, owned by Utah State University, that develops technologies for renewable and advanced energy systems.

EDL’s homepage describes its mission, a company overview and lists its latest news. The rest of this well-laid out web site provides further information on its five major business areas, one of which is Intuitive and Solar Buildings. EDL’s adaptive solar energy systems address multiple needs while tripling the overall solar efficiency when compared to single-purpose solar electric technologies. An example of this is a fully-functional prototype adaptive solar energy system installed in an enclosed structure capable of optimizing the use of solar energy in as many as four areas (lighting, radiant heating of occupants, hot water heating, and electricity generation).

Additional site links include energy dynamics’ partnerships, employment, and team.

Sandia Photovoltaic Research and Development
