This Special Issue (Energy harvesting for sensor applications) presents articles from invited authors of the 5th International Conference on Vibration and Energy Harvesting Applications (VEH, 2024), held in Auckland, New Zealand, in June 2024. This special issue covers the area of energy harvesting and its potential applications to power sensors. In total, there are five articles in this Special Issue. VEH 2024 aims to provide an international platform for researchers worldwide to exchange ideas to advance the development of related technologies. Innovative research works related to vibration analysis, energy harvesting, their applications in self-powered systems, and results on mechanical design, energy conversion using piezoelectric and triboelectric are covered in this Special Issue.
