GAMBICA announces MACIES forum
GAMBICA, the association for the instrumentation, control and automation industry, has announced their next MACIES forum which will take place on 25 February 1998. MACIES was formed for companies in the process, instrumentation and control industry to confidentially discuss data on the size and trends in the UK market.
For the first time,inclusion of a "Communication protocol" category is under consideration. The aim will be to establish market size for both field instrumentation and control systems, using existing and emerging communication protocols, including 4-20 mA,Fieldbus Foundation, Hart, Profibus, World FIP, CAN, P-Net, Honeywell DE and LonWorks.
