C&CD can now offer a new range of design-to-order thermistor probes. Thermistor probes can be used for surface and immersion applications in process control, refrigeration, boiler controls and air-conditioning systems, as well as temperature critical applications in medical equipment such as incubators and refrigerant flow control (see Plate 15).

These NTC thermistor probes are designed on a CAD system to give the customer a fast turnround, as well as being manufactured to ISO 9001. Both plastic and metal materials can be used in the assembly to meet the customer's specific requirements. Designed to operate between 20 and +150°C the probes have a R25resistance range of 50 ohms to 40M ohms and tolerances down to ±0.2°C over critical operating temperatures from 0 to 70°C.
