Swedish/US partnership forms to better serve metrology customer base

C.E. Johansson AB (CEJ) of Eskilstuna, Sweden, and the Sheffield Measurement division of Giddings & Lewis (G&I) jointly announced a strategic partnership. The Swedish company will market, sell, distribute and support the products of its US partner throughout Europe. It is hoped that the new alignment will position the businesses of both companies to better serve their customers.
According to Carmine Bosco, group vice president and general manager of G&I's Measurement and Controls Group, the alignment is foundational and significant for the global customer bases of the companies.
"It leverages the strength of two renowned leaders in the metrology industry and enables us to provide innovative and broad-based solutions. These solutions improve the productivity for manufacturers using the latest knowledge-based metrology products while supporting and enhancing quality control."
