Founded in 2017, WeRide specializes in Level-4 autonomous driving technology and its commercialization. With global operations across 25 cities, including San Jose and major Chinese cities, the company collaborates with diverse partners to develop innovative vehicles like Robotaxi and Mini Robobus. As the industry grows and competition intensifies, WeRide faces a critical decision: should it focus on selling autonomous vehicles directly to consumers or position itself as a key supplier in the automotive supply chain?
