Ecar Technology, a 2018 Chinese startup, specializes in by-wire chassis technologies for Level-4 autonomous driving. It serves major autonomous logistics vehicle operators with integrated solutions and “turnkey" services. Amid rising demand for contactless delivery, the company decided to expand production despite financial concerns. Investments began in 2023, including a new smart manufacturing facility by 2025. By 2024, CEO Liang Shu aimed to build an ecosystem centered on Ecar but faced strategic decisions: how to achieve this goal and prioritize business areas.
