Sara Calvo is Lecturer at the Middlesex University, London, UK. Dr Sara Calvo is Lecturer in Organizational Behaviour and the Social Enterprise Champion at the Enterprise Development Hub at Middlesex University Business School. Her research interests include social enterprise, social innovation and the social and solidarity economy, the informal sector, ethnic minority enterprise, social enterprise support policy and visual research. She has carried out research in South America, Africa, Asia and Europe. She is also the co-founder and director of a social enterprise organisation, Living in Minca/Minca Ventures, and a documentary filmmaker having participated in a number of international film festivals. Dr Calvo has published several book chapters and academic papers in established international journals and online websites.

Andres Morales is Researcher in Social Enterprise at the Open University, Milton Keynes, UK. Andres Morales is PhD candidate at The Open University in the UK. He also works as a Project Manager and is the co-founder of Living in Minca and Minca Ventures. Andres Morales is also a documentary filmmaker and has participated in a number of international film festivals; all the documentaries made are based on bottom-up experiences from social entrepreneurs and social economy initiatives around the world. His experience working as a social enterprise consultant and an educator in several European, African, Asian and Latin American countries has left a deep mark and has served as the grounding for his belief that we have the power to affect the future positively. More recently, Andres Morales deepened his knowledge and experience researching and published academic articles, bokok chapters and blogs about social enterprises in the global South.
