Dr Pradeep K. Jha is Senior Scientist at National Centre for Technology in Family Welfare, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur India, leading a scale-up manufacturing technology and supply chain development programme for the novel male contraceptive RISUG (First of its kind in the world) and was also heading the development of RISUG for advanced phase III clinical trials in India and participating in the technology transfer of the same with international collaborators. Prior to that, He has been working as a Senior Scientist at IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur and several healthcare industries for a decade. He is a founder and director of the Institute of Biomedical Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Kharagpur, and serves as a consultant and co-investigator of several biotech startups for small business incubation. Dr Jha holds a Ph.D. in Management (Healthcare) from APJAK Tech. University, Lucknow, M.Sc. (Med Che), M.S.(TQM), M.B.A(Supply Chain Management) and has been practicing interdisciplinary management research that led to the setting up of junction for “OR/MS in reproductive healthcare.” With a fellowship from WABT France, He completed the EuROMA Summer postdoctoral programme on Global Operations Management in Budapest, Hungary. He has developed innovative quality tools and techniques for pharmaceutical quality management and has done extensive work on GMP for drug development, Healthcare Supply Chain, New Product Development, Quality Management and radiation technology for biopolymer and nanomedicine and presented his work in Future of Contraception Initiative at the University of Washington, Seattle, U.S.A. Published more than 45 research papers in peer review international journals, i.e. EJOR, IJN, IJPR, etc. and presented more than 100 papers in national and international conferences. He is a member of several professional societies like ISSRF, SAI, WABT France and EUROMA; and a referee of several journals.

Suvadip Ghorai received B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Vidyasagar University, Medinipur, West Bengal, India, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Since 2016, he has been actively involved in research at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India under the supervision of Dr Pradeep Kumar Jha, relevant to the topics of computational mathematics, mathematical modelling, decision-making, decision support systems, supply chain management and manufacturing system. He is an active researcher at “Institute of Biomedical Innovation and Technology,” Kharagpur, West Bengal, India.

Prof (Dr) Rakhi Jha is working as a Scientist at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. Prior to that She has been a Faculty and National Course Coordinator at the Animal Welfare Board of India and the National Institute of Animal Welfare, Government of India. Previously, she has been working as a Scientist at IIT Delhi and IIT Kharagpur since a decade with multidisciplinary expertise in areas like Healthcare Technology Manufacturing, bioengineering, nanomedicine development, magnetic field mediated drug delivery, biodistribution, imaging, biomedical application of nanoparticles, Animal Welfare etc. She has extensively worked on nanotechnology-aided reproductive biomedicine development like Cuproferrogel nanomedicine “Smart RISUG”; and injectable male contraceptive RISUG. Dr Jha published groundbreaking research in top healthcare journals and presented at national and internationals conferences. She is an active member of scientific professional bodies and a reviewer for nanotechnology, toxicology and woman healthcare journals. Mrs Jha contributed significantly to various healthcare projects of national interest under the Government of India. Dr Jha a gold medalist (North Orissa University and Utkal University, Bhubaneswar India) holds B.Sc. (Honours), M.Sc. (Zoology), PhD (Nano-biotechnology) and has persistently proven academic brilliance with numerous honors to her credit and with entrenched determination she honestly aspires scientific betterment of society.

Dr Surya Prakash Singh is Dhananjaya Chair Professor in the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. He holds a PhD from IIT Kanpur. He is also a postdoctoral fellow from NUS Singapore-MIT U.S.A. alliance. He has been also a visiting fellow at Newcastle Business School, Newcastle University, UK and Alborg University, Denmark. In addition to this, he was also a visiting faculty at various B-Schools in the country such as IIM Rohtak, IIM Raipur, IIM Kashipur, IIM Ranchi, MDI Gurgaon, SNU Gr. Noida, SCMHRD Pune, XLRI and XIM Bhubaneswar. His research interests include broadly in the area of Operation and Supply Chain Management, Big Data analytics, Industry 4.0, Block Chain Technology and developing heuristics and metaheuristics approaches.
