Tourism demand estimation methods: a systematic literature review

Norlida Hanim Mohd Salleh is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and the Head of Sustainable and Inclusive Development Studies (SID), Faculty of Economics and Management, National University of Malaysia. Her research interests include tourism development, tourism economics, resource economics and environmental economics.

Trisetia Wijijayanti is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management, Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia. She finished her doctoral studies at Faculty of Economics and Management, National University of Malaysia in October of 2024. Her research interests include rural tourism management, rural tourism development and rural development.

Mohd Fazim Ahmad is a full-time PhD student specializing in financial economics. He has published several articles in various economic fields, including agriculture and tourism. Alongside his studies, he works as a part-time research assistant, contributing to academic projects and enhancing his expertise in economic research and analysis.

Agung Winarno is a Professor within the discipline for management and entrepreneurship education in Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia. His specific interests cover entrepreneurship education in rural areas and tourism development through entrepreneurship. He is also active in academic research activities including conferences and articles publishing.

Izza Mafruhah is a Professor within the discipline for Economics in Faculty of Economics and Business, Sebelas Maret University, Indonesia. She actively participates in scientific conferences and has published articles in international scientific journals, especially economic and social sciences. Her specific interests cover empowerment, migrant worker, poverty and economic development.
