The Times and The Sunday Times Compact Disc Edition Available to Purchase

The complete text and indexes for a full year's issues of both The Times and The Sunday Times can be stored on one compact disc enabling easy access to articles of interest. In addition there is sufficient space remaining to store images of integral photographs, diagrams, tables, etc. The article describes the project to make both newspapers available via the medium of CD‐ROM and outlines the main features of the system. A new product providing extracts from the full 200‐year history of The Times is announced and some possible future options considered.
