Image Retrieval Using Information Dimensions' BASISplus Available to Purchase

To add to their already successful range of products which includes BASIS and TECHLIB, Information Dimensions recently announced its Image Series suite of programs. The new software modules allow users to search for images held in proprietary image processing systems using BASIS as the search engine. The features of the Image Series modules are described in part l of the article. BASIS is used at Bristol‐Myers Squibb Laboratories to search their image database; this system was installed before Image Series was available. Part II describes the main features and benefits of the system.
