The installation of BOOK Plus at the Bibliothèque Municipale de Villeneuve D'Ascq, France

Stowe Computing's BOOK Plus library housekeeping system has proved popular in France with well over twenty users at the time of writing. The public library authority at Villeneuve d'Ascq installed the system early in 1991, converting the existing database, including loan transaction information. Since then a number of modifications have been provided and more are planned for the future. The article describes some of the library's experiences with the system to date and outlines some of the functionality provided.
