Every new technology represents both an opportunity and a danger. The opportunity lies in being an early adopter, and embracing a new way of increasing efficiency and decreasing costs — basically a way to do something better. The danger lies in making a major investment, both in terms of time and money, in what may turn out to be a technology that isn't necessarily an innovation — something that may have been on the cutting edge but, in the end, just doesn't cut it.
