This article discusses issues surrounding the move towards electronic delivery of journals within the UK. Ayris looks at the problems faced by academics, libraries and institutions as a whole and examines the need for anational electronic archive in the UK. Current development towards new models of electronic provision are highlighted, and future options suggested.
