MATERIALS RESEARCH FOR NUCLEAR POWER DEVELOPMENT Available to Purchase

New laboratories have been built at the G.E.C. Simon‐Carves atomic energy group establishment at Erith, Kent. There, combined in one centre; all facilities for research, design and test work in the development of commercially built nuclear power stations can be found. Included amongst the new laboratories are some equipped for the specialised work necessary on metallurgical and heat‐transfer problems, and for testing prototype electrical and mechanical equipment. The following is a description of the materials research carried out at Erith.
