Winn & Coales can now supply a twin component repair kit for epoxy coated pipes and fittings (Plate 1).

The Denso Protal 7000 Repair Kit consists of a special applicator gun with inexpensive replaceable twin component cartridges of Protal 7000. The applicator automatically mixes the components together in the correct ratio as application proceeds. This enables repairs to holidays in epoxy coatings to be carried out without having to mix up large quantities of product, most of which will be wasted after setting. As the Denso Protal 7000 is mixed at the outlet of the special applicator gun, the gun does not have to be dismantled for internal cleaning after use.

Denso Protal 7000 is recommended for the long-term corrosion protection of buried pipes, joints and fittings operating at temperatures up to 80°C.

Denso Protal 7000 XT will protect steel substrates, including buried ones, at continuous operating temperatures from 80°C to 150°C.
