And so another Corrosion Exhibition has run its course and we have said good ‐ bye, temporarily, to Leeds. In that week we met again many old friends and encountered new ones. Looking back on Leeds we have, at the moment, a blurred kaleidoscope of impressions. The earnest and serious groups of executives discussing corrosion technicalities; the not‐so‐serious groups swapping humorous, stories; the mornings before the exhibition opened with the stand attendants dusting and polishing; the Press conferences; the official meals and the speeches and, of course, the meetings at the special symposia. All of these are the natural after‐memories of any executive involved in the running of an exhibition.
