This is the third in a series of articles addressed to management by a corrosion consultant, dealing with the economic, educational and organisational aspects of anti‐corrosion work. Having already dealt with the selection and training of corrosion engineers, the author now turns to the questions of what operations such engineers may be expected to carry out and what definitive problems they are faced with in devising systems for protecting industrial plant.
