Among the most popular of the protective coatings used in the U.S.A. are those based on Neoprene. During the last few years considerable experience in the manufacture and use of these coatings has been gained in the United Kingdom. Such coatings have been described as approaching more closely to the ideal than any others on the market. In the following article the properties and capabilities of these coatings are outlined, followed by numerous case histories of Neoprene's use both in the U.K. and the U.S.A.
