The lining of pumps, pipes and valves with neoprene coatings is neither new nor untried, although coating of pipes in this country has so far been mainly confined to the larger pipes. The following article deals separately with the lining of large pipes with access to the interior and small pipes which cannot be entered for application and inspection. Each presents different problems.
