Chemical‐resistant Pipes. Cortec brand pipes, fabricated in epoxy resin/glass laminate, combine the excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, oils and solvents associated with epoxide resins coupled with the high mechanical strength of a resin/glass laminate, and are well suited for carrying corrosive liquors or as steam pipes operating under highly corrosive conditions. They are suitable for operating temperatures in excess of 150°C.
