Metallised Tape. Metallised polyester tape, a new pressure‐sensitive tape in the Sellotape range, consists of polyester film coated with a heavy deposit of aluminium. The material will adhere to almost any flat or curved surface including metal, plastic, glass or chromium plating. It will withstand exposure out of doors for six months or more, even in adverse weather conditions, and has a high degree of chemical resistance. The tape is available in widths from ¼ in. to 2 in.
