Used in avionic equipment, airframe electrical harnesses, naval and military equipment, the TEC VTT D38999 series of connectors is now available from Aerco.
The range (Plate 1) features high and medium density contact arrangements and is stated to be completely environmentally sealed. The quick release, triple start threaded coupling nut incorporates an anti-vibration mechanism and claims 100 per cent scoop-proof contact protection. Superior, three-path metal to metal 360° shielding gives attenuation of a minimum 65dB at 100GHz.

Other features include optional shell-to-shell grounding springs for better EMC/EMP protection, 42 planforms, three to 128 crimp contacts in nine different shell sizes and a temperature range of –65°C to +200°C.
Aerco offers a full range of accessories including protective caps, cable clamps, dummy receptacles, grommet nuts, filtered, co-axial and shielded contacts. The range is approved to BS9522 and F00039.
