A miniature gas turbine that delivers cither 5 or 10 h.p. has been announced by Propulsion Research Corporation, Santa Monica, California, a subsidiary of Curtiss‐Wright Corporation. This engine weighs only 30 lb. and can be used as an auxiliary power unit, portable pump, portable pneumatic source or portable ground power.
