Converters giving higher a.c. or d.c. voltages from 6, 12, 24 or 28 V d.c. supplies are manufactured by Transipack, 29 Burnt Ash Hill, London, S.E.12. These are sealed semi‐conductor units and are available for powers from 2 W up to the kilowatt range.
