It is well known that in aircraft high‐pressure pneumatic systems it is frequently necessary to control the flow of gas by using a solenoid valve. However, with the increasing pressures of pneumatic systems most existing valves are rapidly becoming obsolete. As a result, the Hymatic Engineering Co. Ltd., of Redditch, Worcestershire, have developed a new direct operated valve which will fully meet the requirements of most high pressure, small air flow systems.
